We monitor the rehabilitation of injured and impaired workers. Communication is maintained at all times between the employee, providers, employer and insurance company.
We provide injury evaluation and treatment, and will monitor the rehabilitation of injured or impaired workers. Communication will be maintained between the employee, provider, employer and the insurance company.
It is recommended that the company provide us with a dedicated e-mail for communication. Confidentiality of the employee's workers' compensation case will be maintained at all times.
Drug Screens/Breath Alcohol Testing
Drug screening and breath alcohol testing is available by appointment. Staff are Department of Transportation certified. It is estimated that 23 million Americans abuse substances on a regular basis. Ninety percent of drug abusers work. Many employers are required by law to maintain a drug-free workplace.
We provide post-offer pre-employment physicals that are tailored to the patient's needs, which may include the following:
- General health
- Visual acuity/color vision
- Drug screen
- Pre-employment lab test (EKG, blood work)
- Required immunizations, including tuberculin (TB) screening
- Post-offer pre-employment screen (POPES) completed to determine applicant is capable of performing the essential functions of the job
Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals are also provided.
