Personalized care throughout your pregnancy
Our experienced obstetrics team includes board-certified physicians and highly trained labor and delivery nurses.
When you choose Pella Regional, you can have the same doctor for your prenatal checkups, labor, delivery and postpartum care. This approach allows you to build a relationship with your obstetrics team throughout your entire pregnancy. Not every birthing center can offer you such personalized attention and consistent care.

Our beautiful birthing center
You’ll have your baby and stay in one of our beautifully decorated suites. Our spacious and secure birthing center features private rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, sleeping accommodations for your support person, and attractive amenities for your entire family and support group.

We offer free classes to help prepare you for childbirth and baby care and to support your choice to breastfeed.

Visiting hours and security
Spouses, support people and your baby’s siblings are welcome. We encourage them to be a part of this joyous time and to learn about the new baby.
Other guests may visit during normal visiting hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Children younger than 12 years old who are not siblings of the newborn are not allowed into the Family Birthing Center but are invited to see the baby through the nursery viewing window.
For protection and security, all newborns wear a security device, and the Family Birthing Center is locked 24 hours a day. After hours, please advise your visitors to press the intercom to the left of the door to the department to signal our staff to buzz them in.
