This course introduces the essential scientific knowledge, technical skills, and communication techniques, as specified by OBRA, to function as an accountable member of the health care team. Theory, laboratory practice, and clinical experience will be incorporated to prepare the student to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
This class meets Monday-Thursday on June 17 – 20, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; June 24 – 26, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; and July 2, July 3, July 8, July 9, and July 10, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for clinical experience.
With satisfactory completion, participants will be issued a 75 hour certificate.
The following are required pre-requisites for the CNA program:
Backgound Check: Students wishing to enroll in the CNA program must turn in a completed background check release form. PRHC will submit the form 30 days prior to class.
TB Test: If accepted into the course, a TB test is required. More information will be sent in your acceptance letter.
Cost: $650. Payment due prior to class starting.
