Student Shadowing

Pella Regional Health Center encourages students to visit our facility to enhance their learning experience. Staff members within Therapy Services, Inpatient Unit and other areas assist a variety of students and future graduates in getting their required shadowing and observation hours.

Requirements:

Must be a student associated with an educational program.

Must have department manager approval.

Must have proof of immunizations for:

  • Communicable disease history for measles, mumps rubella and chickenpox.
  • Hepatitis B (if necessary).
  • Tuberculosis screening (negative screening within the last 12 months required).
  • Influenza vaccination (during influenza season).

Must have proof of a criminal background check (if observing in patient care areas).
