Walk-In Clinic Starts Sept. 15 at Pella Medical Clinic
PELLA, Iowa— Starting Saturday, September 15, Pella Medical Clinic has Walk-In appointments Monday – Saturday from 8 am – 7 pm and on Sunday from Noon – 7 pm to better serve the needs of patients.
Some conditions that generally don’t call for an emergency visit, and can be handled in the Walk-In Clinic include:
- Upper respiratory problems
- Sore throat
- Ear infection
- Sinus infection
- Minor injuries
- Urinary tract infection
- Allergic reactions
- Minor rash or skin infection
- Minor burns
- Insect bites, minor animal or human bites
- Minor cuts, scrapes
- Pink eye
- Flu symptoms
- Sinus infections
In an effort to offer more convenience, patients are able to do online reservations to reserve a spot for an appointment. The system works similar to call-ahead seating at a restaurant. Patients can choose an “approximate visit time” and hold their place in line.
“We are always looking for ways to put our patients first and this technology is just another way we are able to accomplish that goal,” said Lezlie Morris, Chief of Clinic Services at Pella Regional. “We are proud and excited to offer our patients this added convenience to their already hectic lives. Having this online tool will help our patients save time while still receiving the highest level of medical care.”
After an online reservation is made, the patient receives a reminder via text message to ensure they do not miss their appointment.
