Physician Assistants Join Pella Medical Clinic
PELLA, Iowa – Three physician assistants, Kim Seda, PA-C, Mindy Southammavong, PA-C, and Quintin Treadway, PA-C, have joined Pella Regional Health Center’s medical staff and are practicing at Pella Medical Clinic at 405 Monroe Street. All three work in conjunction with physicians for same day appointments to provide better access to health care for Pella Regional patients.
“We are so excited to have these providers join the Pella Regional team,” said Lezlie Morris, Chief of Clinic Services at Pella Regional. “We are constantly striving to improve aspects of our patient centered medical home. We know that access to medical care is a key to that medical home. We want to make sure that when you are sick you don’t need to make a trip to emergency to get the care you need when you need it. We will now be able to offer same day appointments on a regular basis when you call in.”
Seda earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Iowa and then went on for her degree in University of Iowa’s Physician Assistant program in 1985. She has worked within a clinic setting since then and has extensive experience in primary care, emphasizing preventive medicine and patient education.
