Pella Regional’s Therapy Services Move to Orthopaedic Center

Orthopaedic CenterPELLA, Iowa— Pella Regional’s Therapy Services is moving to a new location within the Orthopaedic Center to the west of the hospital. Starting Monday, Jan. 15, all patient appointments for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy will be at 500 Jefferson St. The entrance to the building is to the East with plenty of parking around the building.

Therapy Services will occupy the second floor above Iowa Ortho. When patients enter the building, they will take the elevator to Level 2 and check in with a receptionist.

“We’re excited to see the growth Iowa Ortho has experienced over the past several years in our community,” said Bob Kroese, chief executive officer at Pella Regional Health Center. “We’ve worked with Iowa Ortho for many years and we’re excited to continue that close relationship in a new building that will house our Therapy Services.”

The staff is excited about the open space, new equipment, and furthering their close relationship with Iowa Ortho. Therapists are looking forward to providing a great experience for patients in a brand new, more efficient department.

“We know there will be a bit of additional excitement during our first few days after the move,” said Gene Schmitz, director of Therapy Services at Pella Regional. “Please know that our patients and their health concerns are our main priority. We will do everything within our abilities to make the transition to the new area as calm as possible.”
