Pella Regional Welcomes First Baby of 2022
PELLA, Iowa – Pella Regional Health Center’s first baby of 2022 is a little boy, Jude Thomas Foughty, born at 8:06 am on Jan. 3. He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 ¼ inches long. His parents are Lauren and Brendan Foughty from Pella. Jude also has a proud big sister, Hadley. The delivering doctor was Dr. Anne Hellbusch and Brandi Hoksbergen, BSN, was the labor nurse.
While Jude is Pella Regional’s first baby in 2022, there were 587 babies delivered at Pella Regional Health Center in 2021. March was the busiest month for deliveries. There were 276 girls and 311 boys. The heaviest baby was 10 pounds 10 ounces and the longest baby was 22.5 inches.
