Pella Regional Offers Financial Assistance
PELLA, Iowa— Pella Regional Health Center provides medically necessary health care to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. If a patient has a remaining balance after trying all other coverage options, they may be eligible for financial assistance.
“Because today’s insurance policies come with significantly higher co-pays and deductibles, patients are likely to face larger out-of-pocket expenses for their health,” said Cris Findley, Business Office Manager, at Pella Regional. “Our staff is available to help patients work through health care bills and payment options that fit the patient’s financial situation.”
Financial assistance will be considered for patients who are unable to pay for their health care based on financial need. If a patient does not have insurance and qualifies for financial assistance, they will not be billed more for services than the amount generally billed to those who have insurance.
Patients requesting financial assistance are required to complete the Financial Assistance Application as well as providing the proper income documentation. If it is determined a patient is eligible, Pella Regional will notify then on how much assistance is available. If it is determined a patient is not eligible for assistance, they will be notified in writing and given an explanation of the reason.
