Pella Regional Medical Clinics Announce New Urology Practice

PELLA, Iowa – Pella Regional Health Center is pleased to announce the formation of Pella Regional Urology Clinic and welcome Board Certified Urologist, Russell Bandstra, MD. Dr. Bandstra will begin seeing patients in the new Pella Regional Urology Clinic location inside Pella Regional Health Center in July, 2021. He will also continue to see patients in the current location in Grinnell at 122 4th Avenue, on a regular rotation.

“It is my pleasure to continue providing care for my patients in this new practice,” said Dr. Bandstra. “Pella Regional Medical Clinics are an established multi-specialty medical group serving a five county region and I am pleased to provide patients with access to the services and quality care within the Pella Regional Health Center family of services.

Aaron Smith, DO will be taking time away from seeing patients to pursue additional specialty training to better serve the needs of our patients. In his absence, patients can continue their care plan through a primary care provider and with Dr. Bandstra as needed. As Dr. Smith nears completion of his advanced training, more information about re-entering his practice will be available.

Pella Regional Urology Clinic will provide surgical and medical treatment of diseases of the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, bladder, prostate, seminal vesicles, testicles, scrotum, urinary tract, and penis. Urology includes the entire urinary tract and reproductive system of the male and the entire urinary system of the female, exclusive of the reproductive organs.
