Open House for Cardiac Services

PELLA, Iowa— Cardiac Services at Pella Regional is holding an Open House for the public on Thursday, September 26 from 11 am – 1 pm for their new location within Pella Regional. Community members will have an opportunity to tour the new area, ask questions of providers and staff and enjoy some refreshments. Please use the new parking lot on the corner of Jefferson and Hazel streets and use Entrance #7.

“We are excited to show the community our renovated space and new cutting-edge equipment,” said Karla Berg, Director of Medical-Surgical, Spiritual Services, ICU, and Cardiac Services at Pella Regional. Cardiac Services installed state-of-the art SCIFIT™ cardiovascular equipment that will allow data to transfer between exercise equipment and computer allowing for more improved reporting and will be a tool to enhance and measure patient progress.

Cardiac Services at Pella Regional exists to help prevent, detect and treat heart disease through screening, rehabilitation and education. Along with medical director, Dr. Doug Kanis, there experienced staff ensure patients have the highest quality care, from diagnosis and treatment through recovery and rehabilitation.
