Cardiac Services Moving to New Location within Pella Regional
PELLA, Iowa— Cardiac Services at Pella Regional Health Center is moving to a new location within Pella Regional on July 31. All appointments will now be located within the newly renovated section of the hospital at the corner of Jefferson and Hazel streets. Patients should park in the southeast lot and come through Entrance #7.
“We are excited about our renovated space and new cutting-edge equipment,” said Karla Berg, Director of Medical-Surgical, Spiritual Services, ICU, and Cardiac Services at Pella Regional. “Our staff is looking forward to providing excellent care for our patients in a brand new area of the hospital.”
Besides the new location, Cardiac Services is excited to roll out new state-of-the-art SCIFIT™ cardiovascular equipment that will allow staff to better engage with patients and help them achieve their prescribed goals. The new feature will allow data to transfer between exercise equipment and computer allowing for improved reporting and will be a tool to enhance and measure patient progress.
Cardiac Services at Pella Regional exists to help prevent, detect and treat heart disease through screening, rehabilitation and education. Along with medical director, Dr. Doug Kanis, there experienced staff ensure patients have the highest quality care, from diagnosis and treatment through recovery and rehabilitation.
