Beth Kingma Receives Quarterly DAISY Award

Pella, Iowa-- Pella Regional Health Center is proud to announce that Beth Beth Kingma is our quarterly Daisy award winnerKingma, resident of Pella, at Pella Medical Clinic is a DAISY recipient. The DAISY program is a national award, given at the local level, to registered nurses who exemplify extraordinary nursing. The focus is on the special touches and human consideration that these nurses give to their patients.

Excerpt from Beth’s nomination:

Beth was recognized by patients for her welcoming smile and caring attitude. Beth truly cares for her patients and goes above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and cared for. She always takes time to listen to her patients and she answers any questions they may have. She has a kind heart! 

Kingma received a certificate that reads: "In deep appreciation of all you do, who you are, and the incredibly meaningful difference you make in the lives of so many people."  She was also given a sculpture called A Healer’s Touch, hand-carved by artists of the Shona Tribe in Africa.
