Treatment Program

Wound care patients undergo a thorough examination to identify the type of wound and the underlying problems causing the wound. Some wounds are associated with complications from diabetes and other related vascular disorders. Other types include pressure sores and traumatic wounds. A program specifically tailored to the patient's needs will begin based on the most effective treatment options.

Wound care treatment may include:

  • Dressing changes
  • Compression therapy
  • Debridement
  • Pain management
  • Patient and family education

Our specially trained Wound Care nursing staff is certified in wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and wound care debridement to provide you with the best care possible.
