Surgery in Central Iowa
Surgery at Pella Regional is a great choice for those living in central Iowa. Our facility includes 14 private outpatient admission rooms, a central sterile area, dedicated rooms for urologic and endoscopic procedures, three operating rooms and a five bay post anesthesia care unit.
da Vinci robotic surgery is another service provided to central Iowa by our surgeons at Pella Regional. This creates a new option for patients facing a gynecology, urology or general surgery.
We have a large waiting room staffed by a volunteer at our busiest times. There is also a private consultation room where doctors can meet privately with families to discuss surgical procedures or options families may need to consider.
Pella Regional measures patient satisfaction through a company that is independent from the hospital—Press Ganey Associates. Recently, the average mean score for our Overall Assessment Section has not gone below 94; this is on a scale of 100.
