Falling is one of the biggest threats to the elderly. The Lifeline Medical Alert Service can be used any time help is needed-whether for a fall or any other immediate medical concern.
Due to patient privacy, staff is not able to give out information to children of elderly parents or patients 19 and older unless the patient has signed an Authorization for Consultation.

Skilled/Swing Care at Pella Regional is intended for patients who are too ill to return to their homes, but no longer require acute care received in the hospital. The patients may require rehabilitation, wound care, nursing observation or extended IV (intravenous) therapy after surgery and hospitalization.Skilled/swing care provides patients with the opportunity to transition smoothly and safely from an acute hospital setting to skilled/swing care and finally to their homes or previous living environment.
“Therapy was painful at first,” said Neola. “I couldn’t put any weight on my leg in the beginning. But no pain, no gain. I had therapy twice a day. They would make it fun, which made it easier for me.”
