Foot Drop System

Rehabilitation at Pella Regional Health Center helps patients regain function of their leg due to stroke, multiple sclerosis, or other central nervous system disorders.

The L300 Foot Drop System is designed to help patients walk more naturally, with increased speed and improved balance. The technology delivers programmed, low-level electrical stimulation to activate nerves and muscles that lift the foot and accelerate motor recovery. It may also help:

  • Improve gait
  • Reeducate muscles
  • Prevent muscle loss
  • Maintain or increase joint range of motion
  • Increase local blood flow
