Comfort House Information

photo of hospice comfort house in Pella iowa

Imagine a house that invites those who are dying to come to a place that provides a warm, home-like atmosphere, surrounded by the people you love, with care provided by hospice staff specially trained in end of life care. That's the concept of Comfort House.

Hospice care focuses on care, not cure. Most of hospice care is given in the home, but when that is not feasible, Hospice of Pella provides a "home away from home" for patient's last days.
