REMINDER: Visiting Guidelines Changed at Pella Regional

PELLA, Iowa—Pella Regional has limited patient visitations in order to minimize potential exposure to illness. While the changes may be difficult, the following visiting guidelines are in effect until further notice:
- All visitors under the age of 18 are not allowed, and adult visitors are limited to two people at a time. This includes siblings in the Obstetrics Department.
- Visitors with any symptoms of influenza-like illness are not allowed.
- Visitors may be issued masks or other protective clothing when visiting.
- If the influenza pandemic warrants further limitations, visiting hours may be restricted at the judgment of the hospital.
If family/friends/visitors have any of the following symptoms, they should not visit:
- Fever—low (99°F) to high (104°F) within the last 24 hours
- Aching muscles
- Cough
- Headache
- Joint aches
- Eye pain
- Feeling very tired
- Sore throat, runny or stuffy nose
- Feeling very cold or having shaking chills
