Practicing at the Pella Regional Health Center on the second and fourth Friday of the month.

After receiving his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Kansas, Dr. Matthes attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine where he was awarded his medical degree and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency.
He attended the Institute for Bone and Joint Disorders in Phoenix, AZ., where he completed his adult reconstruction fellowship. He specializes in joint replacement surgery as well as general orthopaedic care.

Dr. Matthes is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
