Dr. Fredrickson completed medical school at Kansas University. He went on to complete his internship at St. Joeseph's Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana. His residency was completed as part of the Wesley Family Practice Residency program in Wichita, Kansas.

He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
