Auxiliary at Pella Regional
As the original hospital was being completed, a group of eight women formed a steering committee and spent much time and energy setting up an organization to render service to the hospital. The organization was named the Pella Hospital Auxiliary.
Over the years, the Auxiliary has grown to include men and women dedicated to supporting Pella Regional Health Center through gifts of time and/or money. All volunteers are considered to be part of Pella Regional’s Auxiliary, and their time is greatly appreciated! In addition, many individuals provide monetary donations.
Each year, Pella Regional’s Auxiliary helps purchase equipment (PDF) that falls outside of the hospital’s budget. Gifts from the Auxiliary provide vital support to Pella Regional.
In addition to equipment purchases, the auxiliary provides scholarships through the Mary Evers Nursing Scholarship.
