Kathy Story-- Pella Regional’s May Shining Star

Kathy StoryPELLA, Iowa— Kathy Story, Information Technology, was recently selected by a group of her co-workers as the May 2014 Shining Star at Pella Regional Health Center.

Story, resident of Pella, was nominated based on her Attitude, Commitment, and Sense of Ownership.

Excerpt from her nomination:

“When it comes to a 'We Can' attitude Kathy is THAT team asset! 'Thank you Kathy' for your many efforts in helping us over the years in both Finance and Materials--it is so very much appreciated. Your most recent example of team success is your assistance in transferring of the many procedure codes. Your calm, willing, honest, and thorough approach to locate answers to any of the out of the box thinking that we may ask of you is so valued! We can always count on you to complete a task and know that it is done correctly, no matter how busy you are. You are such a great asset to Pella Regional and we are proud to have you on our team!”

Shining Star is a reward and recognition program at Pella Regional designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding standards of behavior and inspires others to do their best.

Story will receive a $100 gift, an ad in the local paper, a plaque, and will automatically be included in the Shining Star of the Year award.
