Jeanette Seibert - May Shining Star for Pella Regional

Jeanette Seibert, May Shining StarPELLA, Iowa— Jeanette Seibert, Skilled Care, was selected as May Shining Star by co-workers at Pella Regional Health Center.

Seibert, resident of Harvey, was nominated based on Attitude, Appearance, Commitment, and Sense of Ownership.

Excerpts from her nomination:
“Jeanette is a CNA in Skilled Care and has worked at Pella Regional for 13 years. Jeanette takes great pride in her job as evidenced by always making sure our patients have everything they need and are as comfortable as they can be. She is a great example to new employees. She goes above and beyond what is expected of her constantly. If a patient needs a shower, she offers the whirlpool. If a patient wants ice cream, she makes a milkshake. For holidays, even the minor ones, she organized parties for our patients. She has a game ready, purchases decorations, and plans a snack (after making sure the snack is OK for their diet). For Easter, she worked with the therapists to organize an Easter egg hunt to be both fun and therapeutic. Our patients love her! Jeanette has a great attitude and exemplifies Pella Regional’s mission.”

Shining Star is a reward and recognition program at Pella Regional designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding standards of behavior and inspires others to do their best.

Seibert will receive a $100 gift, a plaque, and will automatically be included in the Shining Star of the Year award.
