4 Pella Regional Nurses Honored with DAISY Award

Connie GordonePella, Iowa-- Pella Regional Health Center is proud to announce that Connie Gordon in Obstetrics, Jessica Muster in Home Health, Kathy Pitts with Nursing Supervisors, and Pam Wolver in Obstetrics were DAISY winners for 2015.

The DAISY program is a national award, given at the local level, to registered nurses who exemplify extraordinary nursing. The focus is on the special touches and human consideration that these nurses give to their patients.

Pam WolverOn May 5 Pella Regional nurses gathered together to recognize the 2015 nominees and winners and to celebrate the nursing profession. Co-workers and patients nominated Pella Regional nurses who exemplify someone who gives a special compassionate touch to those she/he meets and cares for.

Other nominees for the 2015 Daisy Award included: Patti Craighead, Deb Dupree, Tracey Hall, Leisha Huyser, Beth Kingma, Kristin Kirk, Robin Nossaman, Kim Pearson, Cathy Robinson, Tamie Schutte, Betty Sels, Linda Ver hoef, and Nicole Vos.
